So it’s no secret that I LOVE Valentine’s Day. Maybe the pink gave it away? It’s been one of my favorite holidays since I can remember. I loved to make the Valentine’s boxes in elementary school and even decorated my dorm room in college. I would put out heart-shaped donuts and chocolates for my roommates and it was always greatly appreciated. I figured I’d do a quick post on some decor ideas to make your Valentine’s day perfect! Even if it’s not your favorite holiday….

This is easily one of the cutest Valentine’s set-ups I’ve seen. The pink and grey go perfect together (I’m not a huge fan of red). Simple garlands add decor without overdoing it and I love the XOXO sign because sparkles. You can’t go wrong with pink flowers!

This is a great example of taking craft store decorations and making them look amazing for a Valentine’s Day party! So simple and definitely budget friendly. I love the pink tassels!
So, technically this is a bridal party but I’m turning it into a Valentine’s Day party because it’s AMAZING! Those heart-shaped balloons and buckets of flowers are perfection. Also, how cute are the little mason jars of flowers for people to take home. Never deny the power of balloons. They don’t have to be cheesy, the gold lettered ones look fabulous for events!

When in doubt, make a balloon backdrop! It doesn’t have to be as large and extravagant as this one but at any size people will love it.

Valentine’s Day is for ALL the chocolate. Make your chocolate covered strawberries in pretty pinks, whites and gold and they can act as decor and a delicious dessert! I made some last year that you can see here. They are SO fun to make!
I think it’s so important to just have fun with Valentine’s Day! So many people dread the holiday but there’s just no need. Might as well embrace it and enjoy lots of chocolates, heart-shaped donuts and fun pink decor! If you need some gifts for your girlfriends then check out my mini rose bouquets. They were so cute and fun to make! Enjoy!
