These marshmallows are squishy, fluffy, and sweet. The strawberry puree really adds a nice kick of flavor and makes it a pretty pink color. My next marshmallow making experience is going to be peppermint because how good would that be melted in hot chocolate? Don’t worry you can eat these by themselves as well…but don’t expect to stop at just one!
They were fun to squish too. Whoever invented the “don’t play with your food” rule definitely has no fun in life. I encourage you to squish these little squares of fluff if you so desire! They melt fabulously in hot chocolate and give it a delicate strawberry flavor. I unfortunately didn’t have the chance to try them as a s’more since it’s January and freezing rain is our only weather right now. I refuse to make them in the microwave because I’m the kind of girl who lights her entire marshmallow on fire. It’s the only way I like it! I can’t wait to make these in the summer because I bet it tastes amazing! Maybe I’ll do coffee or nutella flavored ones.
These marshmallows also work great as a little gift. Just put them in a cute baggy and hand them out to all your friends! Or host a s’mores party! There are so many different flavors to experiment with and they are by far better than the store bought ones. Valentine’s Day is coming up and some sweet, fluffy, pink marshmallows are the perfect gift!
