Halloween is coming soon which means pumpkin carving is at an all time high! I decided to take the decorating route instead of carving and made these cute unicorn pumpkins. If you missed it, I also made a cactus pumpkin a few weeks back! This is definitely a good pumpkin project for those of you who aren’t so fantastic at carving.
I had so much fun making these with the cute little sequin horn! I found the perfect mini cones at Michael’s. My first thought was to pin all the sequins in with mini push pins but I found it was easier to just use my hot glue gun. I swear a hot glue gun can do anything!
I made the ears by cutting out some ear shapes on nude and pink colored felt. I glued the pink on top of the nude and cut a little square out on the bottom. You glue the two bottom pieces together like in the picture above so that the ear has the folded look.
I glued the horn on with hot glue as well as the ears. Place the ears right behind the horn so that you can fit the flowers around them. I used a thin black marker for the eyelashes, nose and mouth and some pink paint for the cheeks. I actually just used my finger to make the cheeks.
Also, if you like my outfit, I linked it below! The shirt is so cozy. I can wear it with a skirt or leggings and it works either way. If you want a full unicorn Halloween then be sure to check out my unicorn costume and unicorn cupcakes from last year! Enjoy!
