Happy September! I know everybody is ready to jump straight into Fall but I have to be honest I’m just not ready! I refuse to order anything pumpkin until we actually enter the fall season on September 21st. That being said, I decided to make a DIY pumpkin because I thought it would look super cute as a cactus. I also recently acquired a pair of cactus pj’s that I’m obsessed with and I knew they would go perfectly with the pumpkin.
How cute is it?! I promise it’s super easy to make too. You could make an entire cacti garden with pumpkins for your front step! Maybe that’s a little overboard…but it’s definitely a good transition piece from summer to fall. As much as I love fall, I’m just not a fan of the orange and brown colors so I had to think outside the box a little bit.
Cactus Pumpkin DIY
I found the gold candle holder and flower holder at Home Goods. I swear it’s the best store out there. If you want to make my little pink pot you can find that post here. I have three different ones you can make!
There you have it! A pumpkin who thinks she’s a cactus. Do you like my pj’s! You can get them here. And if you’re loving that palm leaf pillow, you can find that here! The pj’s are so comfy and I’ve gotten so many comments from friends about them. They pair perfectly with my cactus pumpkin! Oh, and my chair you can get here! It’s the perfect accent chair. If you want more cactus DIY’s to do check out one of my latest posts. Enjoy and happy almost fall!
